The Vinorium has been invited by Edmondson Interiors to bring you a Special Wine Tasting.
Inspired by a visit to Edmondson Interiors super smart new show room where there is an array of materials that don the wall proving a feast for the eyes – suddenly it got us thinking… Minerality.
Minerality is a tricky one to explain, it can describe aroma, taste or both. There are many contradictory views of the term, some producers see it as an expression of the ‘terroir’, whilst oenology experts put it down to compounds produced in winemaking.
Think of the taste of the sea, the smell of a footpath after it rains or the smell of a black-board… Oh heck, these are just words!
The only way you will truly discover what minerality is by popping along THIS Thursday 14th April from 6-9pm to our Sensory Wine Tasting and let Stuart explain the mystery. You will sample a number of wines that will allow you to directly compare and detect the elusive ‘minerality’.
By the end of the evening, whether rigorous or romantic, you can tell us what you believe minerality in wine is…and you will also be in possession of a 10% off voucher to buy any 12 bottles from The Vinorium which will be in the goody bag.
The Vinorium will also be selecting some special wines to serve for the evening to accompany the absolutely delicious menu that a chef from Gaggenau will be demonstating how to create in their wonderful appliances.
